The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is mounting the 2026 DTI–Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair from April 8 to 12 at SM Megamall's Megatrade Halls — and it's shaping up to be the biggest celebration of Filipino food entrepreneurship yet.

Over 320 MSMEs from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will fill the halls with regional flavors, culinary innovations, and market-ready products spanning food manufacturing and processing. Admission is free, with product sampling, live demos, and interactive activities open to all.

This year's fair puts a spotlight on the coconut industry, showcasing its versatility and export potential in line with the government's Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan. A dedicated Halal segment will also feature certified and Halal-ready products, reflecting the Philippines' growing push into the global Halal market.

One of the fair's more compelling stories: food concepts built by former OFWs who have turned their overseas experience into homegrown enterprises — proof that entrepreneurship can be a powerful path back home.

For buyers and business owners, the DTI Business Connect Lounge offers structured matching sessions with distributors and retailers, aimed at turning conversations into real supply agreements.

Whether you're a foodie, a small business owner, or simply curious about what Filipino MSMEs are cooking up — this one's worth the visit.

Free admission. April 8–12, Megatrade Halls, SM Megamall.
