Sometimes the best nights happen close to home, where live music fills the room, conversations start with strangers, and local creativity takes center stage. This July 3, Off The Record invites everyone to experience exactly that as Escalator Music transforms Felman's Place in Kalentong, Mandaluyong, into a hub for music, art and community.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the free indoor event offers more than a lineup of performances. It creates a space where independent musicians, small businesses, artists and audiences come together to celebrate the local creative scene.

Leading the evening are performances from Paham, Magnolia Pixie, QZIEST, James Daniel and John Sam, each bringing their own sound and storytelling to the stage. Whether attendees are longtime followers of the local music scene or are discovering these artists for the first time, Escalator Music promises an intimate setting where every performance feels personal.
Beyond the music, visitors can browse a curated selection of local merchants, from handcrafted finds and artist merchandise to freshly brewed coffee and treats. The event encourages guests to slow down and support independent businesses shaping the local creative economy. Featured merchants include Gumpy, Sundays at Toledo, MCP Coffee and artist merchandise booths, rounding out a mini creative marketplace alongside the night's performances.
The event reflects Off The Record's continuing commitment to giving independent artists a platform to share their work while building connections between musicians, creators and audiences. By combining live performances, local entrepreneurship and a welcoming atmosphere, Escalator Music shows how grassroots events keep strengthening the country's independent arts and music culture.
Admission is free, open to anyone looking for a night of original music, creative discoveries and genuine community connection. Whether you're coming to support a favorite band, discover new artists, enjoy good coffee, browse local brands or just soak in the creativity, Escalator Music has something for everyone.
Off The Record also welcomes entrepreneurs, artists, makers and independent brands interested in joining future editions of Escalator Music. Those interested in setting up a merchant booth can reach out through the organization's social media channels.
