Founded by Jodie Vieira, One Little World partners with artisan communities in Ecuador, Nepal, Uganda, Kenya, Brazil, and Rwanda. As a member of the Fair Trade Federation, the company is committed to building long-term partnerships that empower artisans through fair compensation and sustainable economic opportunities.
One Little World follows the Fair Trade Federation's principle of "Pay Promptly + Fairly," letting artisan partners set the value of their own work based on their time, skill, and materials. The company pays a 50 percent deposit before production begins and the remaining balance before products are shipped, so artisans receive full payment regardless of future sales.
