For therapeutic artist Guada, healing can start with a single brushstroke.
A certified Reiki practitioner and Therapeutic Art Life Coach, Guada founded Inklings by Guada to create safe, welcoming spaces where creativity becomes a tool for self-expression, reflection, and emotional well-being. Her approach encourages participants to let go of the pressure to create "perfect" artwork and instead embrace the process of creating from the heart.
That philosophy anchors the Paint & Heal Therapeutic Painting Workshop, held in partnership with Papi Oli Bar and Resto. More than a painting class, the workshop pairs guided art-making with mindfulness, inviting participants to slow down, explore their emotions, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive environment.

"Every canvas tells a story," Guada says. "When people create without fear of judgment, they often discover emotions, strengths, and possibilities they didn't know were there."
Open to beginners and experienced artists alike, the workshop welcomes anyone seeking a creative pause from everyday life. No painting experience is required, and all art materials, snacks, and drinks are included — participants simply arrive, create, and enjoy.
The next Paint & Heal Therapeutic Painting Workshop takes place July 11, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Papi Oli Bar and Resto (The Pop-Up, Katipunan, Quezon City). The workshop fee is PHP 1,650.
As interest in creative wellness grows, Paint & Heal is a reminder that art can be more than a creative outlet — it can become a meaningful practice for self-care, reflection, and personal growth.
